Orizzonte Sistemi Navali stipulates a contract worth approximately 23 million euros with the Naval Armaments Directorate (NAVARM) for the supply of distributed training to the Italian Navy.
Under this contract, a synthetic training system will be developed for the naval and air forces of the Italian Navy through the progressive federation of various training systems, already in service or acquired and to be acquired in the future, in a synthetic and geographically distributed operational environment. The extremely innovative project will see real vehicles interact in virtual scenarios with simulators. Increasing the quality and realism of training, and will allow the Italian Navy to have a unique tool of its kind of the latest generation.
