First Sea Going Review of the Schergat vessel

Great satisfaction in Muggiano for the First Sea Going Review of the Schergat Vessel, the ninth Italian Unit of the FREMM Programme. The Review, conducted by OrizzonteSistemi Navali in the presence of representatives of the International agency OCCAR, NAVARM and the Istitutions involved, made it possible to verify the satisfaction of the conditions and requirements for the first exit to sea of the naval unit which will be conducted in the next few days. OSN is Prime Contractor of the program stipulated with OCCAR for the supply to the Italian Navy of10 European multi-mission frigates with cuttin-edge latest generation technology (FREMM). Characterised by high flexibility of use, the Spartaco Schergat Vessel will join thefleet of Bergamini Class Units in 2025 and will have the ability to act in all operational spheres of interest to the Italian Navy.
