Today 24 September 2024, in line with the planned planning, the cutting ceremony of the first sheet metal of the first New Generation PPX patrol vessel as part of the Navy's Offshore Patrol Vessel program took place at the Fincantieri shipyard in Riva Trigoso . This event, which marks a further and significant industrial milestone, begins the construction phase of the Unit whose delivery to the Navy is scheduled for 2027.
