The Ship Engineering and Architecture Function, divided into Ship Integration and Logistics Engineering, plays a pivotal role in upholding the Design Authority for naval units. Its focus is on developing and maintaining robust system, design, and executive capacities to ensure seamless support throughout the product's entire lifecycle.

Team members are actively involved in implementing assigned projects or studies, adhering to received guidelines, agreed timeframes, and cost objectives. They utilize the company's knowledge, methodologies, and tools to meet specified performance standards while maintaining defined quality benchmarks. Their efforts actively contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction throughout the process.

Activities and Responsibilities

  • Take charge and operate using the methodologies and tools established by the Project Manager
  • Take charge and pursue the objectives set by the Project Manager.
  • Constantly verify the technical consistency of the elaborations against the specifications and participate in the checks of consistency with the related elaborations
  • Participate in project reviews for areas of your expertise
  • Drafting and management of technical documentation (project specifications, integration plans, testing documentation, etc.)
  • Technical support for integration and testing activities both at suppliers and at the shipyard for activities on board naval units
  • Support the identification of requirements and the process for the definition of the physical/functional project
  • Manage integration activities both on the ground and on board
  • Technical support for evaluating project variants
  • Technical support for program management
  • Technical support for quality audits
  • Database update for business process management

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering
  • Even brief experiences in the sector are to be considered a preferred title
  • Good ability to use the main tools of the Microsoft Office package and Project
  • Good knowledge of English for managing documentation and technical and relationships with suppliers
  • Willingness to transfer and transfers on national and international territory
  • Knowledge of the French language is to be considered a preferred qualification.
  • Personal characteristics such as interpersonal skills, strong orientation to team working and the ability to react positively to work pressure while maintaining control and remaining focused on the priorities and objectives assigned by one's manager are considered fundamental.
