Orizzonte Naval Systems, a leading company in system engineering in the naval field, is looking for talented and motivated Logistic Support Systems Engineers (ILS) to enrich the Competence Center & Engineering team: a center of multidisciplinary engineering excellence (naval, mechanical, electronic, IT) for the development, design, production, integration, delivery and support of Integrated Naval Military Units.

Activities and Responsibilities

  • Participate, as part of system engineering, in the drafting of technical and project specifications for RM-T requirements from an ILS perspective to meet the needs and requirements of the Customer and lifecycle supportability
  • Check the Technical Specifications developed by the suppliers for the RM-T aspects
  • Implement the ship's operational readiness analyses with the appropriate software tools
  • Implement Vessel-level RM-T studies (including maintainability assessment)
  • Verify the RM-T studies related to the platform/apparatus and the Combat System
  • Perform LSA (RMC, LORA and trade-off) analyses for the optimization of the maintenance plan
  • Check the project documents/studies in relation to the parts that have an impact on maintainability (technical specifications, plans and general arrangements, removal routes and machine landings, material flows of respect), and prepare the related check lists
  • Take care of the trade-offs for the system supportability project
  • Carry out the LCC (LifeCycle Cost) evaluation studies with the appropriate SW tools
  • Define training, instrumentation and support equipment, PHST, and infrastructure
  • Define program requirements and guidance for the development of the ship manual (IETP)
  • Define and ensure the development of ship-level logistics databases (LSAR)
  • Check the databases (LSAR) and validate the SS/AA level IETPs with the appropriate SW tools
  • Develop training programs and plans by integrating vendor plans
  • Develop analyses to support the provisioning process (inventories and STTE)
  • Carry/verify the sizing of the stocks proposed by the suppliers
  • Take charge of and pursue the time and cost objectives established by the Project Manager
  • Carry out FRACAS-type activities
  • Apply the measures envisaged by the program's contractual indicators (KPIs)
  • Check the maintenance plan for each of the elements (systems) that make up the product.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Electronics/Telecommunications/Mechanics Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in shipbuilding programs
  • Good ability to use TOOL SW in the ILS field (e.g. OPUS, SIMLOX, etc...)
  • Conducting reliability growth programs
  • Good knowledge of English for managing technical documentation and relations with suppliers
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally and possible transfers.
